Provides first-class service in order to push the sales of of AYÈ products. Acts as an intermediary between AYÈ Farms and clientele. Makes necessary phone calls and meetings to help sales. Allows people to make inquiries as necessary.

Basic Salary Up to ₦30,000 per month depending + 10% commission + Access to Company car and Driver. Estimated Earning of ₦70K - ₦100K per month

 

Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8:45am - 5:30pm 

 

Based within a thriving city of Lagos

 

Job brief

We are looking for a result-driven retail Sales/Marketing Associate to be responsible for all sales job duties, from generating leads to closing sales.

 

As Sales/marketing Associate your duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. You should also be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. 

 

To be successful as a Sales associate, you should stay up-to-date with product features and maintain our store’s visual appearance in high standards.

 

  • Have a keen interest and knowledge of the beauty industry and skincare.

  • Have a proven track record in driving sales through outstanding one-to-one customer service.

  • Possess exceptional people and communication skills to build strong relationships with the store management teams and customers.

  • Have previous experience within a retail environment (preferably within the beauty industry).

  • Have the ability to work retail hours including days, evenings and weekends as well as occasional ad-hoc events.

  • Be pro-active in achieving sales and target driven.

  • Be willing to travel around your allocated area to visit all the retail stores within it

  • Preferably hold a Level 2 Beauty Therapy Qualification.

  • Have access to a PC and be confident in Microsoft Word and Excel..

 

Responsibilities

  1. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

  2. Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features

  3. Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries

  4. Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis

  5. “Go the extra mile” to drive sales

  6. Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas

  7. Actively seek out customers in store

  8. Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options

  9. Process POS (point of sale) purchases

  10. Cross sell products

  11. Handle returns of merchandise

  12. Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service

  13. Build productive trust relationships with customers

  14. Comply with inventory control procedures

  15. Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design)

  16. Requirements

  17. Sales Associate skills

  18. Proven work experience as a Retail Sales associate, Sales representative or similar role

  19. Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

  20. Proficiency in English

  21. Basic Math skills

  22. Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements

  23. Track record of over-achieving sales quota

  24. Hands-on experience with POS transactions

  25. Familiarity with inventory procedures

  26. Solid communication and interpersonal skills

  27. A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus

  28. Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner

  29. Availability to work flexible shifts

  30. High school degree; BS degree in Marketing or related field would be a plus
